Joey Harbison has taught 27 years as band director and/or assistant band director for several Jefferson County Schools, including Hewitt-Trussville Middle School, Hewitt-Trussville High School, West Jefferson High School, and Rudd Middle School. He was the orchestra director at FBCT from 1996 - 2023. He currently teaches Beginner - Advanced brass lessons at the Conservatory at FBCT. Joey and his wife Sheri have one son Lester, who is at the University of Alabama.
