Terri has been the Director of Cahaba Academy, a church school ministry of FBCT, since 2018. She joined Cahaba Academy as a member in 2012 when her family moved to the Trussville area from Florida. She held various volunteer positions within Cahaba Academy until she was brought on as director in 2018. Terri has been married to her best friend, Larry, for 36 years. They have 3 wonderful children and 5 grandchildren. She is a native of the Panhandle area of Florida.

Terri holds a BA in elementary education from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. She has taught in several Florida public and private schools in that area. She also homeschooled her youngest daughter for 8 years with Cahaba Academy. She loves children and has served in Children’s Ministry in some capacity most of her life. Little people bring her great joy!

When she isn’t working, Terri enjoys reading, listening to music, singing, gardening, and spending time with her family & friends. She also has a love for everything associated with tea parties! Her favorite tea is Strawberry.
