William Yarbrough
Guitar Instructor
William A. Yarbrough, raised in Shelby County, AL has been involved with music since he was 8 years old and initially began musical training through band programs at Thompson High School. He later began working as a bassist at just 15 years old. He is known mostly for playing guitar these days. Mostly self-taught and learning theory after many years of gigging, William can accommodate a wide variety of styles. His approach in teaching guitar is solid in theory, scales and rudiments that can prepare students for playing in many popular forms.
Now with 30 years of experience, William has been teaching guitar the past 9+ years in Birmingham. He currently plays lead guitar at Double Oak Community Church in Mt. Laurel and in various artists/bands.
In his free time he enjoys photography, kickboxing, motocross, and spending time with his two children.
