Upward Basketball/Cheerleading
Kindergarten through fourth graders play basketball and cheer at FBC Trussville through an organization called Upward. Upward Sports is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues. Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dinners
This is just a fun “date night” for 1st-5th graders and their parents, held here at the church, usually in February. The mother/son banquet typically happens on a Friday evening, and the father/daughter takes place on Saturday evening.
