Lesley Rogers
Voice Instructor
Lesley has been teaching music in the state of Alabama for the past 23 years. In 2020, she earned her National Board Certification in Music - Early and Middle Childhood and currently teaches music at Paine Elementary School in Trussville. Lesley has worked in all grade levels in both public and private schools.
Lesley earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in Speech Communications from Samford University. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Music Education from the University of Alabama. She was actively involved in the Miss Alabama Organization and was recognized as the Talent Winner in 1998. Lesley received her Level 1 and Level 2 Orff-Schulwerk Certifications from Samford University.
Lesley has directed children’s choirs at Vestavia Hills and Trinity United Methodist Churches for over 10 years. She also taught voice lessons in Samford University’s Preparatory Department and at the University of Alabama’s Community Music School. Lesley began taking voice lessons in the sixth grade and realized early on that music was her passion. Because she comes from a family of teachers, Lesley decided to combine her passion for singing with her calling to become an educator.
She and her husband reside in Trussville and attend First Baptist Trussville.
