Week 5 - Seeking His Direction

So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and He answered our prayer. - Ezra 8:23

Ezra is leading the exiles back to Jerusalem and knows that they will face some obstacles. Ezra needs God’s presence. He needs God’s protection. Ezra needs God to make the plan work. So Ezra rallied the people to pray and fast. God hears and responds.

Today, we enter God’s presence and pray:

• Ask God to show you how He's calling you to fast.
• Ask God for his protection.
• Pray for God to accomplish His plan in your life and in the life of FBCT.
