…pray without ceasing… - 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Paul wrote to young believers in Thessalonica to challenge and encourage them to live holy lives. In the midst of the list on holy living, he says, “Never stop praying.” Paul understands that in order to live a godly life one must stay connected to God. We stay connected to God through prayer.

Today, stay connected with God in prayer:

• Before you leave the house today, pray asking God to help you make the most of the opportunities you will have today.
• At the top of each hour, take a few minutes to talk to God.
• Take a walk and talk to God about the things that are on your mind.
• Before you go to sleep, thank God for all that He has done for you.
