Week 4 - Sacrifice for the Next Generation

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. - Proverbs 22:6

A verse giving clear direction to instill wise teaching into the hearts of children. Some versions use the words “train up a child” to clearly indicate a deliberate movement to dedicate a child to a life that is led by the Lord.

Together, let’s offer up a prayer:

  • Ask for God’s wisdom to fill our mind today.
  • Allow God to have total control of situations in our lives where we are struggling.
  • Commit our hearts today to stay focused on His Word and do not turn from it.
