Week 5 - Seeking His Direction

So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. - Luke 11:9-10

Today’s verses come from Jesus’ teaching on prayer. He tells the story of a person desperately needing the help of a friend. The needy person keeps knocking on the friend’s door and asking the friend to help. The friend does not meet the need just because the two are friends. The friend finally responds to the need because of the needy person’s shameless audacity.

With shameless audacity, knock on God’s door. Seek God. Ask Him:

• To glorify His name.
• To accomplish His will in your life.
• To reach the generations with the Good News.
