Week 2 - Grateful for His Forgiveness

March 9, 2025

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” - Isaiah 1:18

This verse reminds us that it is not our changed behavior that causes forgiveness and restoration. Rather, changed behavior shows true repentance and complete dependence on God that make forgiveness possible. Ultimately, our restoration is entirely dependent on the sacrifice of Jesus.

Today, as a church family, let’s pray:

  • That we recognize how much God loves us.
  • To thank God for the sacrifice of Jesus for our sins.
  • To remember that “the matter is settled” once we place our faith in Him!
