Week 2 - Grateful for His Forgiveness

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! - Hebrews 9:14

In the Old Testament, God accepted animal sacrifices to make people ceremonially clean on the outside. He has now provided the sacrifice of Jesus for all who place their faith in Him to be made inwardly (and completely) clean.

Today, as a community of faith, let’s pray:

• To thank God for the perfect sacrifice of Jesus.
• To thank God that we are not just outwardly clean, but completely clean inwardly in His sight.
• That we recognize we are saved from acts that lead to death so that we may serve a living God!
