Week 1 - Desperate for His Presence

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. - Psalm 63:1-3

In these verses, David speaks to two things about his relationship with God – his experience of who God is and his desire for God’s presence. When we understand the immensity of God’s power and the depth of God’s love for us, it drives us to “long” for more of His presence and “glorify” His Name.

As a church family we join together and pray:

• That we would long for more of God’s presence in our lives.
• That our hearts would grasp the depths of His love for us.
• That our lips would glorify God.
