Week 3 - Concern for the Lost

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. - Matthew 5:16

Have you ever been walking through the woods late in the afternoon and realize that the darkness is right on your heels? The pathway grows dim and the light disappears, then you remember that small flashlight in your backpack. All of a sudden the pathway is visible and all who follow in the light return safely. We have that Light of Jesus within us that we are to shine in this dark world so that all may find their way to Him.

Today, let’s pray:

• To ask God to help you shine your light for all to see His Good Works.
• To ask God to remove any fear in sharing his Word with others.
• That God would be glorified in all that we say and do in His name.
