Week 2 - Grateful for His Forgiveness

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. 19 You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.- Micah 7:18-19

Micah’s name means “Who is like the Lord?” His book and these verses tell of God’s attributes that serve to accomplish salvation for us. It is His mercy and compassion that lead to our sin being “hurled into the sea” so that we are made right before our perfect God.

Today, as a family of believers, let’s pray:

• That we remember that God is like nothing else that we may find ourselves tempted to worship.
• To thank God for separating us completely from our sins.
• And remind ourselves that God delights in showing mercy and compassion to us.
