After getting a first full day under our belt, Tuesday went even smoother! We followed the same morning schedule of hearing from Pastor Tim before splitting off into our Johnson and Jackson Bible Club sites. Continuing in the Bible story, games, music, and crafts stations, children at both locations got to hear about Jesus and didn’t even get too hot with the threat of rain. After lunch, our groups split back up to our afternoon service projects. The Johnson group went to Leahy’s, another Bible Club location, to do a reading club with the children in that community. We played games with the kids, read books with them, and heard the story of David and Goliath (in English and Spanish!!). The Jackson group stayed in the Brinkley Heights gym to play with kids and read them another Bible story.

At night, we ate dinner rested up, and enjoyed some fellowship with each other before and after our nighttime worship. Please pray for God to continue to reveal His character to the children that come to Bible Club this week, and that the children could then share the love of Jesus back home with their families and friends. Pray for strength and energy as we head out for another full day!
